The Casting, an industrial unit complex located in the suburb of Mayfield West sits on the former site of Newcastle’s steel casting furnace.
Comprising of two larger units at the front of the building and 10 smaller units behind, each unit has its own kitchen & bathroom facilities, mezzanine level, large roller door, and dedicated parking. The larger units have increased washrooms and mezzanine facilities for the businesses that require the ‘extra space’, close to the CBD.
The external walls have been constructed in precast panels which provide quick erection, good soundproofing, and a tough surface. The internal walls dividing the units are steel clad to enable the walls to be moved allowing expansion into neighbouring units if required.
